This semester is off to a great start, with eight student assistants supporting in various capacities across our business. Our students bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to enhance our projects and initiatives. Our collaborative and inclusive environment allows undergraduates and graduate students to apply their coursework directly to meaningful tasks, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application while establishing a deeper understanding of their fields and building essential professional skills. The benefits are mutual: Students gain invaluable insights and mentorship from seasoned professionals, while our team enjoys the energy and creativity that new minds bring. “I have used the skills I learned in my journalism and communications major to write news articles and social media content,” said Ashlynn Rutherford, student assistant. “I plan to pursue a job in social media management after graduation and will use the skills learned at Texas A&M Innovation to do that.” With a diverse group of students contributing their unique talents to new ventures, finance, media, and market intelligence, the synergy created enriches our office culture and prepares the next generation of leaders for the challenges ahead.
