Texas A&M Professor Receives Prestigious Heat Transfer Award

Texas A&M Engineering professor Debjyoti Banerjee, Ph.D. has been selected to receive the 2026 Heat Transfer Memorial Award in the Art category, recognizing his outstanding contributions to heat transfer science and the successful translation of research into intellectual property. 

His work spans phase-change heat transfer, thermal energy storage, microfluidics, and micro- and nano-engineered surfaces. The award also recognizes his commercialization achievements, including 17 patents and two startups.
