Texas A&M Innovation Joins Inaugural Aggie Startup Summit to Empower Student Entrepreneurs

The inaugural Aggie Startup Summit is a student-led conference for entrepreneurial Aggies – with support from the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship, Texas A&M Innovation, and the  Meloy Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program. Kudos to the student team for delivering a high-class event, which included over 150 students, 15+ speakers and mentors, speeches, panels, and breakout sessions.

The conference brought together students, founders, CEOs, venture capitalists, and entrepreneurs for a day of insights, connections, learning, and forward-thinking strategy for professionals at all stages. Among the standout moments: our very own Chris Scotti  participated in the panel Startup Legal & IP 101: Protecting your Business and Ideas, and shared high-level legal essentials for founders: protecting your ideas, avoiding common pitfalls, and forming the right entity.

The energy and collaboration at the summit reflected the spirit of innovation at Texas A&M, and we’re proud to team up with our friends at Meloy and McFerrin to support the next generation of Aggie entrepreneurs as they turn bold ideas into real-world impact.
