Craig Carothers is a Director for Texas A&M Innovation with almost 30 years experience developing and executing intellectual property commercialization strategies and generating value for IP owners.  He has deep and broad experience in understanding how technology drives business value and has negotiated and closed IP transactions involving all types of organizations ranging from Fortune-500s to individual inventors.  As a patent attorney, he understands the many nuanced factors affecting IP value and the motivations for transacting IP.  He has a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Master’s in engineering management from the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M.  Mr. Carothers was recognized as One of the World’s 300 Leading IP Strategists (Intellectual Asset Management Media Top 300) and was honored as the name-sake recipient of the University of Houston Law Center’s Carothers Prize.
