By Crystal Carter, Texas A&M Innovation – August 13, 2024

Over the past four years, Texas A&M Innovation has dedicated nearly $1 million to fostering Texas A&M innovations via our Translational Investment Fund (TIF). This year, we have increased the amount of available funding and the scope, leading to rebranding as the “Commercialization Gap Funding” program. Our commercialization gap funding is designed to pinpoint and nurture early-stage innovations that demonstrate significant commercial promise. This is achieved by allocating funds to short-term projects to meet a defined objective within their potential commercialization trajectory. With this continuous effort, our goal is to supply resources that will expedite the journey from Texas A&M System research to real-world impact. Contact your licensing manager to learn more.
